INFORMATION:
The company MaNe has attached special importance to high quality and environmental friendly material in the construction of FUNNEL 3 in 1, which is an aid for knotting fishing hooks with an eye. It has an added clipper (cutting edge made of hard metal) and a stainless steel needle (spring loaded). Your FUNNEL 3 in 1 was developed and made in Germany.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
To ensure the function of the threader, the hook eye has to be clear; it should not be obstructed by thread, lead or bead head. (fig.1)
The FUNNEL 3 in 1 is also made for use in salt water respecting the following instructions:
Rinse your FUNNEL 3 in 1 after usage with lukewarm water or soapy water.
Do not use corrosive solutions or acidic cleaning supplies in any case!!!
It is very important for the usage of the clipper that you cut only intended material (monofilament).
The clipper is, due to its hardmetal blade, not intended to handle steel leaders or anything similar.
FUNNEL 3 in 1 consists of many small parts, therefore it should be kept away from children!!!
2 year guaranty:
You have a 2 year guaranty on your FUNNEL 3 in 1 as long as it is a defect in fabrication or material. In this case your FUNNEL 3 in 1 will be replaced. Defects, which are caused by abrasion or nonprofessional usage, are not included in this guaranty.
USE OF THE THREADER:
Insert the hook eye through the opening of the cone base (two sizes) until you notice a light resistance. Move the hook eye, to center it in the middle of the cone. (fig.2)
To ensure proper alignment of the leader, the hook eye has to be exactly in the middle and parallel to the base of the cone. (fig.3)
Insert now the leader from above into the cone. (fig.4) If this is not possible, check the end of the leader and the hook eye.
Often the end of the leader is damaged. In this case use the clipper to create a clean cut.
If the hook eye is obstructed with glue, use the needle.
As soon as the end of the leader appears out from the cone base, the hook is threaded. Remove the hook and leader through the vertical cone slot. (fig.5)
