A dream for fly fishing
The Ischler Ache runs from the outflow of Lake Wolfgang to the influence in the Traun. We offer you the opportunity to fish the lower part from the junction into the Traun 3,4 upstream to the "Pfandl Bridge". The "Ischl" flows in the lowest part through the "Kaiserstadt" Bad Ischl, where there are large - partially capitale - fishes. The Ischler Ache is considered to be the mixed water in the Salzkammergut with an excellent stock of trouts (rainbow trouts, brown trout), graylings and also barbs and chubbs. However, it is well-known by the fly fishiners for the excellent graylings. The Ischl has excellent water quality, no floods and is considered to be resistant to melting water. Dry-fly fishermen are getting their money's worth right up to the late autumn.
