The Dream of Traun
This 3 km part of the Traun is located below Bad Ischl. The river Traun presents itself here already as a broad river with partly strong current. As a result, the trouts and graylings are of excellent physical condition and strength, and guarantee a unique fly fishing experience. Long trains, deep pools and trickle trails are the character of the river at this point, which provides optimal conditions for a wonderful fly fishing day. The Traun is perfectly walkable and can be walked on, so in some parts of the river you can even cross. The fact that the stock of rainbow trout as well as grayling is excellent.
